Rob Chen is a Ph.D. student in the Laboratory for Rehabilitation Neuroscience. He graduated with a joint bachelor’s degree in Biomedical and Health Sciences Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University. His undergraduate research focused on using deep learning to automate the segmentation of the ventricular system in order to predict the outcomes of patients with traumatic brain injuries.
Rob’s research focuses on the application of machine learning algorithms on brain imaging techniques (e.g., fMRI and DTI) to expand the knowledge base of various forms of Parkinsonism.
