Joelle Simpson

Doctoral Student

Joelle Simpson is a Ph.D. student in the Laboratory for Rehabilitation Neuroscience. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Applied Physiology & Kinesiology from the University of Florida. Her undergraduate research focused on the biomechanics of gait variability in autistic individuals.

Research Interests
Joelle’s current research focuses on functional MRI techniques in REM behavior disorder, Inflammatory bowel disease, and Parkinson’s disease to investigate pre-clinical parkinsonism.
