Bio
Luis completed his bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Florida.
Research Interests
Luis is interested in research involving stem cells and Parkinson’s disease. He received his bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Florida, during which he performed research under Dr. Jeffrey Fair, using gene therapy and stem cells to treat liver diseases such as cirrhosis. Following his bachelor’s degree, Luis worked at RAPiD Genomics as a robotics and lab technician. He currently works in the LRN Lab as a biological scientist II, and manages neuroimaging studies in preclinical models of DYT1 dystonia.
