Rob Chen
Doctoral Student
Rob Chen is a Ph.D. student in the Laboratory for Rehabilitation Neuroscience. He graduated with a joint bachelor’s degree in Biomedical and Health Sciences Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University. His undergraduate research focused on using deep learning to automate the segmentation of the ventricular system in order to predict the outcomes of patients with traumatic brain injuries.
Research Interests
Rob’s research focus is on the application of machine learning using diffusion tensor imaging metrics to differentially diagnose neurodegenerative disorders.
