Dr. Shin completed her bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Psychology, as well as master's degree in Cognitive Psychology at Chung-Ang University in South Korea, and her doctoral degree in Neuroscience at Florida Atlantic University. Her doctoral dissertation focused on the decoding memory representations in visual memory from electroencephalogram (EEG) signals. Her current work focuses on identifying neurobiological mechanisms in neurological disorder groups and how age affects the changes.
